Basaveshwar Khanavali is a third-generation family-owned business serving authentic North Karnataka cuisine for over 60 years. We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible dining experience, using only the freshest ingredients and traditional cooking methods.
Our story began in 1963, when our founders, Kudalayya Ganachari and Sushila Ganachari, opened a small restaurant in Hubballi. He was passionate about cooking and wanted to share his love of North Karnataka cuisine with others. The restaurant was an instant success, and soon we expanded to several locations across Karnataka.
Today, we have chain-of restaurants in three different cities. We are still family-owned and operated, and we are committed to carrying on our founder's legacy of providing delicious and authentic North Karnataka cuisine.
We source all of our ingredients from local farmers, and we use traditional cooking methods to bring out the best flavors in our food. We are also committed to sustainability and use recycled materials whenever possible.

We have always handpicked and outsourced all the raw materials from our Hometown (Hubballi). This helps in providing authentic food taste and enriching our culture and heritage.
